Bamboo-plants popularly known for their industrial uses are now been in attention therapeutical as well food/nutraceutical utilities. The plant is intricately associated with humans from time immemorial. Bambusa arundinacea (Retz.)Willd. an important species among the bamboo community. Research works on this of have yielded crucial data regarding its phyto-constituents and biochemical parameters. Seeds B. Arundinacea to possess several nutritional properties they traditionally used by many tribal populations across globe. present review article attempt critically analyse comprehensive information research carried out pharmacognostical physicochemical profiles, evaluate phytochemical , pharmacological ethnomedicinal seeds arundinacea. This revealed characteristic features possessed these seeds. profiles. analysis vital bio-constituents which implies possible therapeutic potential. bioactivities some constituents can ensure possibility utilizating manufacturing medicines, future.
